Baptist St. Anthony’s Health System

Snyder, Documentation Specialist in the BSA Medical Records department, recently received her certification as a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist. Snyder has worked at BSA for two years. She received her Associate degree in Nursing in 2001 from Amarillo College.

Sean Evan Jones

‘Texas’ outdoor musical

Jones, an Amarillo native, studied vocal music at Amarillo College in 2014 and 2015 and is now starring in the outdoor musical “Texas.” It is the first paid acting job for the 21-year-old thespian who graduated in 2014 from Amarillo High School. “Texas” is staged on summer nights (except Mondays) at Palo Duro Canyon State Park’s Pioneer Amphitheater.

Alex Cueto

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Cueto, who has been employed with the Potter County Sheriff’s Office since June 2016, has been promoted to Deputy after completing a Panhandle Regional Peace Officer Academy at Amarillo College. He has been working in the Potter County Detention Center as a corrections officer.

Dennis Beyer

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Beyer, who has been employed with Potter County Sheriff’s Office since 2014, has been promoted to Deputy after completing a Panhandle Regional Peace Officer Academy at Amarillo College. He has been working in the Potter County Detention Center as a corrections officer.

Cpl. Leslie Brice

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Brice, who has been employed with Potter County Sheriff’s Office since 2011, has been promoted to Corporal. He is a licensed corrections officer and has been working in the Potter County Detention Center. He will be one of PCSO’s Corporal and supervisor on one of the three shifts overseeing corrections officers and the daily observations of inmates.

Cpl. Katie Brown

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Brown, who has been working for the sheriff’s office since 2001, has been promoted to Corporal. She began as a corrections officer, was promoted to deputy and will now be assigned to PCSO’s Crime Scene Unit and will be learning and fine tuning her knowledge in crime scene evidence gathering.

Sgt. Wallace Jones

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Jones, who has been with the sheriff’s office since 2002, has been promoted to Sergeant. He began as a corrections officer, was promoted to deputy, has worked the field as a deputy, has been one of PCSO’s K-9 deputies and was promoted to Corporal in 2016.

Sgt. Steve Orcutt

Potter County Sheriff’s Office

Orcutt, who has been with the sheriff’s office since 2005, has been promoted to Sergeant. He will work in PSCO’s CID which follows up on all reports and gathers facts and evidence to have cases presented for prosecution.
