Gibson has joined Burdett, Morgan, Williamson & Boykin LLP as a partner. His office is at the firm’s Happy State Bank location. Gibson concentrates his practice in civil litigation, including personal injury trial law, commercial and real estate litigation, insurance defense, eminent domain litigation, and appellate work. He received a law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 2013 and a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in 2009.

Rodney Ruthart

First United Bank

Ruthart, executive vice president and chief credit officer at First United Bank in Amarillo, was recently elected to the Independent Bankers Association of Texas’ board of directors for 2017-2018. IBAT is the largest state community banking association in the nation. Ruthart was elected to this position during the association’s 43rd annual convention held early October in Austin. Ruthart has been in community for nearly 30 years ago and has been in his current role since 2004. He was elected to the First United Bank board in 2013. Ruthart served on the IBAT Leadership Division board for the past four years and is the immediate past president of Leadership Division Region 1.

Forrest Lloyd

Wellington State Bank

Lloyd, executive vice president and chief lending officer at Wellington State Bank, was recently elected to the Independent Bankers Association of Texas’ board of directors for 2017-2017. IBAT is the largest state community banking association in the nation. Lloyd was elected to this position during the association’s 43rd annual convention held early October in Austin. Lloyd’s community banking career spans nearly 35 years. He has been in his position since 1996 and was elected to Wellington State Bank’s board in 1999.
