Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and the team with the hit TV show “American Pickers” will be filming in Texas this winter and are seeking private collections for possible use in the documentary series, according to a news release.
The History Channel series explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” and follows Wolfe and Fritz, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques, according to the release. They aim to find sizable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.
The show is looking for leads from those with large, private collections or accumulations of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of a day looking through. Those who think they have what the pickers are looking for can send their name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 855-OLD-RUST.
Wolfe and Fritz’s mission is to recycle and rescue forgotten relics and meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items for the show. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning about America’s past, according to the release.
