Dr. and Mrs. James M. Watson of Richardson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Kathryn Watson of Richardson to Patrick Hodges of Amarillo, son of Dr. and Mrs. David R. Hodges of Amarillo.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are and Shirley and Clifford Watson and Betty and Lonnie Haygood.
Grandparents of the prospective groom are Dorothy McGill and Rubye Hodges.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson and a 2014 graduate of University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and a 2016 graduate of Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer team at University of Oklahoma.
The prospective groom was born and raised in Amarillo. He is a 2006 graduate of Tascosa High School, a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences, and a 2014 graduate of Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his residency with Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2017, receiving a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral biology. He is currently a co-owner, with his twin brother Austin, of Corbin Hodges & Hodges Orthodontics, located in Amarillo, Canyon and Dumas.
The couple plans to wed on Dec., 9, 2017, in Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
