Christ Lutheran Church, 2400 N. Coulter St., will have its annual craft and baked goods bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Crafts will include table runners, angel ornaments, painted wooden items, crocheted goodies and much more. Proceeds will go to Bethesda Good Samaritan homes for developmentally disabled people.
First United Methodist Church of Olton will serve a Chile and Stew Lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the church’s fellowship hall, 312 Ave. D. The menu will include chili or stew, relishes, cornbread or crackers, homemade pie and tea or coffee. Takeouts will be available. Costs are $7 for adults, $3 for ages 2 to 10, younger than 2, free. The church also will have a Country Store between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., featuring handmade crafts, baked and canned goods and frozen casseroles. A “new and gently used” room will be available.

The Christian Mothers Society of Holy Family Catholic Parish in Nazareth will have a Turkey Dinner and Raffle from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Community Hall, 104 First Street. Adults plates are $10, ages 10 and younger, $5. Turkey and dressing with all the trimmings and homemade desserts will be served. Booth setup is at 7 a.m. Nov. 19. Tables are no longer furnished. Christmas shopping, jewelry, homemade baked goods, knitted towels, home décor and more will be featured. Rafael Cruz, the father of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, will be guest speaker at the 10 a.m. service on Nov. 19 at Arena of Life Cowboy Church, South Washington St. and Loop 335.
St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 4500 West Hills Trail, will have its 13th annual Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19. The menu will include turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad and a dessert. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages six to 11, five or younger free. There also will be a bake shop and a “Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.”
