Center City, AQHA hosting photo contest to celebrate Hoof Prints horse statue project anniversary

Center City of Amarillo and the American Quarter Horse Association are celebrating the 15th year of the Hoof Prints Project by inviting owners of the horse statues scattered around the city to decorate their synthetic stallions for the holidays and enter a photo contest.

“Deck the Herd” photo entries can be made to Chanette McKibben at to be eligible to win prizes. Deadline for entry is Monday.

Voting for the People’s Choice Award will then take place at the Center City of Amarillo Facebook page.

Cab company concerned as Amarillo council approves airport commercial ground transportation ordinance
