Joyce Ahler, 84, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Charlie Cox officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Ms. Ahler was born March 27, 1933, in Amarillo to Mauldin and Cleora Bryant. She worked for Blackburn Bros. as a retail sales associate. After marriage, she became a homemaker and devoted her time to her family. Joyce lived in Los Angeles for 14 years, and later came back to Amarillo. She loved to water-ski in her early years on Lake of the Ozarks. She loved camping in her travel trailer. She especially enjoyed going to Lake City, Colo.
Survivors include a son, Ken Heath and wife Debbie of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Madeline Wells and husband Pat of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a stepgrandson, Jeremy Read and wife Nichole; two grandchildren, Ryan and Johnny; and three stepgrandchildren.
