Parker Bridwell didn’t close the Los Angeles Angels’ 4-3 win against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday, but it was another quality outing for the Hereford graduate.
Making his sixth big league start, Bridwell threw 6.1 innings, allowing allowing six hits and two earned runs as well as making his Major League career-high eight strikeouts.
The Angels are now 6-1 in games Bridwell appears in.
The 25-year old is 3-1 on the year with a 3.18 ERA in 39.2 innings pitched, racking up a total of 27 Ks.
